Last, but certainly not least, we have the Metropolitan Opera. The Metropolitan Opera is an opera house that opened in 1966 on Broadway at Lincoln Square. There are five shows being offered this month with encores happening every week. As with the other venues, you are able to visit the Metropolitan Opera’s website, view the calendar, and purchase your tickets. The Metropolitan Opera has made news in the New York Times, New Yorker, as well as Vanity Fair, just to give you a gauge on how renowned the venue is. The Metropolitan Opera also offers upscale dining, as well as a bar during intermission. With that in mind, it is wise to purchase your tickets at least a few weeks in advance to ensure that do in fact get seats. You don’t want to miss an awesome show!the Upper West Side
