Upper West Siders may soon spot a new neighbor—one with a Bravo-sized spotlight.

Erin Dana Lichy, a cast member on “The Real Housewives of New York City,” appears to have taken up residence in a historic townhouse on West End Avenue, according to a video she posted to Instagram earlier this week. In the clip, she strolls through the front door, keys in hand, with the caption: “POV: you’re moving into your dream townhouse.”

The property—a five-story, 20-foot-wide mansion which Curbed first reported on—was most recently listed for $8.25 million. While Lichy hasn’t confirmed whether she purchased or is renting the home, Michael Bushkanets of Compass, the listing agent, told Curbed the deal was “not a standard rental and not a standard sale but something in between.”

According to Bushkanets, the home had been updated by its previous owners, who bought it roughly seven or eight years ago. He described the move as a personal and professional milestone for Lichy, who recently had her fourth child and was seeking a long-term residence “Not just a home for her kids but a showplace.”

The seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bath townhouse spans nearly 7,000 square feet and was originally designed by Lamb & Rich, the 19th-century architecture firm best known for projects like Sagamore Hill and the Astral Apartments in Brooklyn. Original details remain, including wood paneling, coffered ceilings, built-in shelving, and a dramatic staircase.

A rental unit is located on the garden level, and the main kitchen—though sizable—reportedly leans more traditional than Bravo-chic. Still, it’s only a six-minute walk from Zabar’s, which may be reason enough to celebrate.

Whether Lichy is settling in as an owner or just testing the waters, the move marks a clear lifestyle upgrade from the rental apartments she’s previously occupied, including a Tribeca loft once alleged to be rat-infested. As Curbed noted, projecting affluence—rented or owned—is part of the “Real Housewives” tradition.
