A sign on the front door of the highly anticipated Popeyes, located at 2534 Broadway (between 94th & 95th streets), says they’ll be opening next week.
We don’t have much in terms of fast food – no Taco Bell, no Wendy’s, no Burger King. And we lost the KFC we used to have on 106th and Broadway. So I’d consider this great news and a very welcome addition to the Upper West Side.
Did you know that a piece of Louisiana comes with every meal?
Popeyes trademarked Bonafide® Chicken is just one of the many crowd pleasers on the way to the UWS. It’s marinated for AT LEAST 12 hours, and can come spicy or mild (but will be bursting with Louisiana flavor regardless).
Did you also know about their seafood? Yep … popcorn shrimp, po’ boys, Cajun fish and more.
And two of the most popular Popeyes items are their Cajun fries and apple pies.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Popeyes. We hope you stick around for a while!
