A whole bunch of free outdoor concerts and movie screenings are taking place this summer at Waterline Square Park, situated in the center of the three-building Waterline Square complex at Freedom Place South between West 59th Street and West 61st Streets.
Earlier this month, Juilliard students performed on the park’s lawn – here are some photos!

For those interested in attending the upcoming concerts, each performance begins at 7pm. Seating is first-come, first-served, and the lawn opens at 5pm. Feel free to bring your own blankets.
We’ve crossed out the two concerts which have already taken place, in case you’ve misplaced your calendar.
Movie nights will also take place well beyond summer! Here’s the current schedule (the lawn opens at 6pm and each movie begins at 8pm):
- July 7: Grease
- August 11: Dirty Dancing
- September 27: Indiana Jones
- October 6: Back to the Future
- October 27: Goonies

We went to try to catch Grease today and there was no movie! Any chance it was for weather, or has the series been cancelled?
