NYC artist Alana Tsui recently painted this mural for Gray’s Papaya, located at 2090 Broadway at the corner of 72nd Street. The wall had previously been blank.
The painting was completed on Sunday, Gray’s announced on its IG page.
Now based in NYC, Alana Tsui was born and raised in New Zealand and has also lived in Hong Kong. There, she worked on various projects including with HK Walls, a non-profit arts organization “that aims to create opportunities for local and international artists to showcase their talent in Hong Kong and internationally through the mediums of street art and street culture.” Tsui also has a background as a fashion stylist, model and influencer.
Gray’s Papaya is currently open Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm and on weekends from 10am-8pm. Please check out their website at grayspapaya.nyc for updates!
