New Documentary Chronicles Life of UWS Family

On Wednesday, November 18th, at 7pm, New York City Council Member Helen Rosenthal will introduce a virtual screening of Big Little Sis, a new documentary chronicling the lives of Doris Darden and her sisters, an Upper West Side family with an uplifting story of unconditional love. Doris may only be 3’9″ but, as Big Little Sis filmmaker Jody Prusan says, “Short happens. It’s what you do with it that makes you tall.” And Doris is living proof.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the Darden family and the Big Little Sis filmmakers.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased through Eventbrite here.
