NYPD officials have put out an alert about a man they say committed an act of public lewdness earlier this month on the Upper West Side. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to help them identify and locate the suspect.

According to the report, the incident took place on Sunday, June 2 at about 1:15 a.m. at the B/C subway station on 72nd Street.
Police say the victim, a 22-year-old female, had been standing on the northbound platform waiting for the train when the unknown suspect exposed himself to her. The suspect fled by foot in an unknown direction and the victim got onto a northbound C train. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Police describe the suspect as “a male, medium complexion, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, 5’9″ tall, medium build and was last seen wearing black pants, black shirt, black sneakers and a black book bag.”
Surveillance cameras also captured photo and video of the man at the station.
