Man Gropes 19-Year-Old After Whole Foods Trip

When a 19-year-old female was walking up the stairs to exit the Columbus Circle subway station on Monday, May 15 at about 1:25 p.m., an unknown male suspect – who had just gone shopping at Whole Foods – bumped into her while walking in the opposite direction, according to police officials.

This led to a verbal dispute between the two, which further led the male suspect to push her, causing her to lose balance.

The suspect then “grabbed the victim’s left breast and continued into the station, boarding a northbound C train,” according to police. The victim was not physically injured.
