Back in March, LPQ announced that it was closing twelve of its stores, though at the time, there was some confusion over whether these closures came as a result of COVID-19 or for other reasons.
In late June, our tipster who goes by ‘Upper West Sider’ informed us that LPQ had been purchased by Aurify, an operator of fast-casual food chains. Aurify’s other brands include Melt Shop, The Little Beet and The Little Beet Table, Fields Good Chicken, Five Guys, and Make Sandwich.
For updates on hours, please refer to LPQ’s website for this location, here.
As one who loved Maison Kayser, I hope they follow their menu. It was incredible for lunch and also for desserts. More like in France than here where stuff is bland and overly sugared.
I know a lot of people liked LPQ. I wasn’t a fan. Thought MK was much better. Maybe they’ll offer both menus?
