Last year we reported that Levain Bakery had plans to expand nationally. Well, that expansion is starting in NYC. And the beloved bakery is not only expanding with new locations, but also a new cookie!
On Wednesday, February 26th, a sixth NYC location will open in NoHo at 340 Lafayette Street (at Bleecker Street). But what’s more exciting is that it will be the first location to offer a brand new cookie they’ve been working on.
Levain Bakery’s New Cookie Available At All Locations
According to The New York Times, the new cookie will be offered at other Levain Bakery locations come late March.
Here’s the cookie, followed by a description from Levain’s owners:
The two chip cookie has started to make its rounds on Instagram (and we don’t see it stopping anytime soon):

Levain Bakery currently has two locations on the Upper West Side, two on the Upper East Side, one in Harlem, and one in the Hamptons. Eater also reports that they might be opening a shop in Williamsburg.
We sure do hope they’ll be bringing this new cookie to our neighborhood soon!
