Newly released photos display the beautifully designed amenities and furnished model residences at Claremont Hall, the distinguished condominium tower situated at 100 Claremont Avenue (at West 120th Street) in the heart of Morningside Heights. Situated right above the Union Theological Seminary (UTS) campus, the striking 41-story tower is now complete and available for immediate move-ins.

Developed by Lendlease alongside LMXD (an affiliate of L+M Development Partners) and Daiwa House Texas, Inc., Claremont Hall was designed by the world renowned Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) with amenity interiors by CetraRuddy Architects.

The upscale condominium tower houses 165 one- to four-bedroom residences offering dramatic views of the city, park and river; tall ceilings and oversized windows; European white oak flooring; and immediate access to the vibrant cultural and academic community of Morningside Heights.

Claremont Hall’s amenity spaces merge old world charm with modern luxury, featuring a balance of classical and contemporary furniture and modern, jewel-tone colors, textures and materials. The end result is a design scheme that’s both aspirational and approachable.

The stunning indoor pool – once a refectory for seminary students and faculty – features soaring Gothic ceilings, original chandeliers and beams that provide a serene retreat for residents year-round. The refectory space will additionally be available to residents for private events.

RAMSA designed Claremont Hall to integrate with the broader campus and surrounding neighborhood. Drawing inspiration from the Gothic Revival character found throughout campus, the tower incorporates Gothic stonework at its base, harmonizing with nearby historic structures. The building’s design transitions as it rises, incorporating setback masses and abstract detailing, creating a distinctive silhouette against the sky. A diverse palette of contrasting bricks and cast stone on the exterior seamlessly blends Claremont Hall with its surroundings.

The neighborhood also boasts architectural landmarks like Riverside Church, General Grant National Memorial, the Peace Fountain, and Columbia University, along with a diverse culinary scene and thriving arts and cultural landscape.
