Kee’s Chocolates has soft-opened at 228 Columbus Avenue, between 70th and 71st Streets. They’re currently working on getting signage up, but the chocolates are in the display and ready for consumption.

The handmade chocolate retailer was founded by Kee Ling Tong in 2002. After working in the corporate world, she decided to follow her passion and open a store serving chocolates and flowers. Her chocolates took off much faster, so she decided to focus on that.

Kee’s serves chocolates and macarons made with fresh ingredients from around the world. These include yuzu from Japan, sea salt from France, and saffron from Spain.
