The Central Park Conservancy and Jazzmobile are thrilled to welcome back Great Jazz on the Great Hill, a free community event on Saturday, August 7 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The event features a lineup of world-renowned jazz performers for New Yorkers, tourists, and visitors to enjoy while lounging or swing dancing in Central Park. The event is weather permitting, and tickets are not required. No refreshments will be sold during the event.
There will be performances by:
- Dizzy Gillespie Big Band & The Music of Jimmy Heath
- Camille Thurman and the Darrell Green Quartet
- Allan Harris Septet
- Alyson Williams
To get to the Great Hill, take the entrance located at 106th Street and Central Park West. (Ramp access entrance located at West 108th Street and Central Park West). View on map here.
