After going virtual for its 2020 event, the annual Goddard Riverside Book Fair will return in person this month.
Now in its 35th year, the book fair will take place at Goddard Riverside at 593 Columbus Avenue (at 88th Street) on Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21 from 10am-5pm each day.
As always, thousands of brand-new books donated by publishers will be offered at the book fair for 50% off, with proceeds going to support the programs at Goddard Riverside.
Admission to the book fair is free, and the following COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place:
- All in attendance must show proof of having been vaccinated or a negative PCR test within 72 hours.
- Goddard will be implementing a one way flow through the building.
- Masks will be mandatory at all times.
There will also be a “Book Bash” on the evening of Friday, November 19 – a cocktail party where attendees can get first dibs on the available books. More info about that can be found at goddard.org/bookbash2021.
