Does your dog have star quality? Can they strike a pose faster than you can say “treat”? If so, the Riverside Park Conservancy wants to see them — and maybe even pair them with a goat.

The Conservancy has officially opened submissions for its 2026 “Paws & Hooves” calendar, a fur-and-fleece-filled celebration of Riverside Park’s most photogenic residents. The twist? This year’s edition includes 12 dogs and 12 honorary goat sidekicks, who, of course, had to horn in on it.

To enter, just submit a high-resolution, horizontally oriented photo of your pup hanging out somewhere in Riverside Park, Fort Washington Park, Sakura Park, Riverside Park South, or West Harlem Piers Park. Photos are due by Sunday, September 7, and the winners will be chosen by a combo of Conservancy staff and public vote.

Twelve lucky dogs will be featured—one for each month—with a matching goat buddy on the flip side of the page, photographed by the Conservancy’s team of volunteer goat paparazzi. (No joke, they exist. And their work is adorable. See: @riversidegoats.)

Beyond bragging rights, the calendar supports a good cause: proceeds will go directly toward maintaining and improving the park’s dog runs.

So if your dog has model potential (or at least looks cute with their tongue out), now’s the time to show them off. Bonus points if they’re not afraid of a little goat companionship.
