On Tuesday morning at 7:32am, a driver heading north on the Henry Hudson Parkway slammed into a tree at 109th Street.
NYPD, FDNY and EMS vehicles arrived to the scene shortly after the crash.
An ILTUWS reader who witness the incident said it was “LOUD” and “sounded like two trucks colliding.” The witness also saw two other vehicles pull over in front of the crashed car, but neither of these vehicles appeared to have any damage.
An NYPD representative told ILTUWS there were no major injuries, and it appears to have been a one-vehicle-incident.
The soccer game continued shortly after the crash.
