We recently heard that Boru Boru, located at 774 Amsterdam Avenue (97th Street) would be closing next week. Boru Boru first opened in February of 2018. Since then, the Asian kosher restaurant gained a lot of popularity.
Recently after they opened, NY Post did a feature on them, highlighting Boru Boru as the one spot to get kosher ramen in NYC.
Boru Boru also offered a lot of vegetarian dishes, noodle bowls, Bao Buns, Bibimbap and Korean fried wings.
A lot of kosher places have closed in recent times. The list includes Coffeeberry, Seasons, Chocolate Works, Big Bang Burger and Chocolate Works.

Lastly, for non-kosher ramen fans, check out the upcoming Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai.
We reached out to the owners of Boru Boru for comment but haven’t yet heard back from them.
