About Books of Wonder
Books of Wonder offers picture books, board books for infants and toddlers, foreign language books, reference books for children (dictionaries, atlases, etc.), non-fiction, and chapter books and novels for children from beginning readers to teens. And an entire bookcase devoted to the many Oz books by L. Frank Baum.
Another significant feature at the Books of Wonder on the Upper West Side is the extensive collection of old, rare and first edition titles — many signed by the author or illustrator — all available for purchase.
Books of Wonder is also one of the nations leading dealers in original children’s book art.
They have quite a few upcoming events which you can check out on their website (below).

Review from the crowd:
Absolutely a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. It is a big store with just children’s books, some variety in Spanish and other languages. I was told that if there is a request and enough staff, they can offer story time anytime. They do have a schedule with times. My kids LOVED this store!
