Arthouse Hotel’s Holiday Movie Revival Pop-Up

Last modified on January 30th, 2020

Arthouse Hotel New York City is hosting a “Holiday Movie Revival pop-up” which will bring classic holiday moments to their hotel, located at 2177 Broadway (on 77th Street, with the entrance just east of Broadway).

Beginning on December 6th and until the end of the year, the hotel’s lobby and Arthouse Wine Bar will be transformed into a nostalgic trip down movie memory lane with decor and cocktails inspired by iconic holiday movies.

Walking past the window displays will transport guests to the exterior of Kevin McCallister’s home in Home Alone, with cardboard cutouts to ward off Harry and Marv.

As you enter, a lamppost with a street sign will welcome you to A Miracle on 34th Street.

Warm yourself by the fire and a burnt Christmas tree from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

Bruce Willis may even be hiding in a vent (as he did in Die Hard) amongst Buddy the Elf’s gift wrapped walls and white paper decorations.

Sip on a punch served from a Leg Lamp as an ode to the “fra-gee-le” award in the legendary movie A Christmas Story, a holiday egg-nog served straight from the carton inspired by National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, or take a shooter from a Christmas Light to celebrate Deck the Halls.
