The Israeli espresso bar and cafe at 161 West 72nd Street has closed. They had been open since early 2009. Their lease has now expired and a sign on their door indicates they will not be renewing.
What I enjoyed most about Aroma were their very strong espressos, salads and hot chocolate. It was also a great place to congregate or work on a laptop, serving as a second office for many Upper West Siders.
They still have another location at 100 Church Street in Tribeca.
