Cteen is a worldwide network with over 500 chapters around the globe, and this September, a group of ambitious young UWSers created their own chapter, located at 166 West 97th Street.
Cteen UWS is a project of Chabad of the West Side. The group provides a network for Jewish teens of all backgrounds and walks of life. By offering these fun and meaningful programs, Cteen UWS is bringing teens together to have a great time and develop life-lasting relationships while giving back to the community.
The newly formed group is giving Jewish teens on the Upper West Side the opportunity to connect with one another on a new and meaningful level; it’s a community they are excited to be building, and they want you to be a part of it!
Cteen UWS is currently in rapid expansion mode. As of now there is no annual membership fee and events are priced individually.
Events include a Supper & Study, lounge nights, trips, services, community service and more!
Regional Cteen trips offer teens a global network of Jewish friends.
Additionally, the International Cteen Shabbaton is an annual weekend retreat for Jewish teens from around the world. For the past nine years, thousands of teens attend, forging new friendships while experiencing a meaningful Shabbat.
Activities are social, meaningful, and fun. Cteen hosts events with different chapters, including trips around the country and opportunities to travel to Israel. Some upcoming events include a Purim bash, a chocolate seder, and a girls night out. Check out their complete list of events here!
