Last year, we told you about a calendar that paired a dozen dogs with a dozen goats. Well, it’s back, and if you want your pup to make the cut this time, you’ll have to move fast.

Riverside Park Conservancy’s 2027 Paws & Hooves Calendar will once again feature 12 dogs plus 12 “bonus goat sidekicks,” according to an email the Conservancy sent out on September 21. Submissions are open until Wednesday, September 23 at midnight.To enter, submit a photo of your dog (or dogs) in Riverside Park, Fort Washington Park, Sakura Park, Riverside Park South, or West Harlem Piers Park. The Conservancy is asking for high-resolution, horizontal shots, with JPG or PNG files at least 3,300 pixels wide by 2,550 pixels high preferred.
After submissions close, Conservancy staff will help select finalists for each month, and then it’s up to the community to vote for favorites. The top 12 will each get a month, with a matching goat on the flip side of the page, photographed by the Conservancy’s team of volunteer goat photographers. (No joke, they exist. Proceeds from calendar sales will go directly to the Conservancy to help improve and maintain the park’s dog runs. Riverside Park has six of them across its six miles.
