If you’re in your 20s or 30s and looking for a way to mark Sukkot that involves cocktails and a dance floor, the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is hosting a rooftop party for exactly that next week. Come with friends or come solo; either way, the JCC is promising a lively evening of food, drinks and good company under the sukkah.
The 20s + 30s Annual Sukkot Party takes place on Thursday, September 24 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the JCC, located at 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street. The event is cosponsored by Moishe House Upper West Side.
Here’s what’s on the roof:
- Open bar with seasonal cocktails, craft beer and non-alcoholic options
- Rooftop sukkah eats, with plenty of food for everyone
- Live DJ keeping the dance floor moving all night
- Photo booth with props
- Rooftop games, including giant Jenga, cornhole and icebreakers for meeting someone new
