Upside Deli, which according to its signage serves breakfast, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, juices and pastries, recently opened its doors at 2606 Broadway (between 98th and 99th streets). An employee confirmed they are not the same people who own Upside Pizza at 112th and Broadway. Per Google Maps, this storefront appears to have been vacant since 2021, since it was home to a T-Mobile store.

A Taco Bell is opening at 2818 Broadway (at the corner of 109th Street), per construction and partial signage at the site. It appears that the same address will also be home to both a Carvel and Auntie Anne’s. Once open, this will be the neighborhood’s first Taco Bell.

Signage for Toro Sushi is up at 103 West 70th Street (at the corner of Columbus Avenue), Columbus Ave BID shared in an Instagram post this week. The space was previously home to Amber, which closed this location last year before combining forces with Flame at 100 West 82nd Street.
