An NBC pilot starring Michiel Huisman and Taylor Schilling is filming near Columbia University this week, with scenes scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, according to the filming tracking account @OLV on Twitter. Exact street locations have not been disclosed.

The production is What The Dead Know, a crime drama pilot from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television. The show is based on former New York City death investigator Barbara Butcher’s memoir of the same name, and centers on a highly intelligent death investigator named Ava Ledger — played by Schilling — who excels with dead bodies but struggles with the living. She teams with the NYPD to solve their toughest cases.Huisman plays William Grant, an experienced NYPD homicide detective. Chilean actress Lorenza Izzo is also part of the cast.
The pilot was written by Beth Rinehart, who executive produces alongside Wolf Entertainment’s Dick Wolf, Tom Thayer, Peter Jankowski and Anastasia Puglisi. Fred Berner serves as director and executive producer.
Huisman, a Dutch actor best known for his roles on Game of Thrones, The Haunting of Hill House and The Flight Attendant, was cast in the role earlier this month, according to Deadline. Schilling is best known for her starring role on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black.
