The Sixties Rock & Roll Revue Brings a Groovy Night to The Triad Theater on Friday, February 27!

Fans of classic Sixties Rock & Roll are in for a nostalgic musical journey as the acclaimed tribute band, The Sixties Rock & Roll Revue, takes the stage at the Triad Theater on Friday, February 27! Get tickets here.

Known as the ultimate tribute Sixties experience, The Sixties Rock & Roll Revue recreates in concert, the sound, style and energy of the decade’s most iconic bands. The band takes the audience back to one of the most influential musical periods of our time. From The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to The Who and Creedence Clearwater Revival, the band’s high energy performances capture the spirit of an era that changed music forever.

The band is comprised of a group of talented professional musicians who have shared stages with many notable musicians in Rock & Roll and have toured throughout the world entertaining live audiences. The Sixties Rock & Roll Revue has performed to sold out audiences across the northeast, and is widely recognized for its exemplary musicianship and energy.  The Sixties Rock & Roll Revue features guitarist John Merjave, a member of Max Weinberg’s Jukebox, (Bruce Springsteen) The Weeklings and Ed Alstrom, organist for the New York Yankees.

The Sixties Rock & Roll Revue began performing in 2021 and as John McDermott, leader of the band puts it, “it’s all about keeping the music of the Sixties alive and well. The influence of the music from the ’60s is undeniable and its imprint on contemporary music continues to remain very relevant to modern culture and art today. The live show is really a celebration of timeless hits during a golden musical decade. Playing hits by bands such as the Beatles, the Who, CCR, the Rolling Stones and so many others is like taking a wonderful musical step back in time.”
