Woman Robbed at Gunpoint at UWS Subway Station

NYPD officials have issued an alert about a robbery that occurred on the Upper West Side this week. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.

According to the report, a 57-year-old woman was approached by the unknown suspect inside the B/C subway station on 86th and Central Park West on Wednesday, October 15 at about 11:18 a.m.

The suspect proceeded to grab her and placed a black firearm to her head, demanding her property. He exited the train station and fled on a maroon bicycle traveling westbound on West 88th Street. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

The sought individual is described as a “male with a dark complexion, approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a gray hat, dark coat, blue jeans and gray sneakers.”
