Egypt Delanoy, a 15-year-old girl, has been missing for two months now. She was last seen on September 11 at approximately 7:00 p.m., when according to a police report she was seen leaving her residence at 875 Columbus Avenue at West 104th Street.
Delanoy is described as a Black female, approximately 5’5″ in height, 125 pounds, thin build, light complexion and brown eyes.
Anyone with relevant information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by sending a direct message to @NYPDTips on Twitter.
Why did it take so long for the police to release this information? After a week, this should have made the news.
Her family must be besides themselves. Two months is an eternity when you are missing a child.
Unfortunately because she’s a black teen from NYCHA she’s been missing for two months with no urgency and news updates. So sad. Hope the family finds her.
